Carrs Rattail Silver Plated Dessert Fork

Matching salad or dessert fork for the oldest of English designs, the Rattail was named after its method of strengthening and providing rigidity to the cutlery with the addition of a central rib, or rat-tail, which was added to the underside of spoons and forks. Today this feature has been incorporated seamlessly into the design.
